Music at The Rock of Cleveland is pure in worship, and contemporary in song and praise. Just as the Lord desires us to be free as we praise and worship Him, we should desire to fully honor and adore Him as Abba Father, precious Lord and Savior.
The Rock encourages worshippers to continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God. The “sacrifice of praise” is the fruit of one’s lips, which results in the giving of thanks to the Lord’s name (Hebrews 13:15). Scriptures that support the position of praise and worship at THE ROCK of Cleveland are Psalm 150:6 and Psalm 148 (“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord”) Psalm 22:3 (“God inhabits the praises of His people”), Deuteronomy 10:21 (“He is our Praise”) and Hebrews 2:12 (“I will declare Your name to my brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You”).
We also believe that praise is a weapon against our adversary, Satan.Psalm 149:6 states,
“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand”. When the body of Christ begins to worship, in one accord, the Lord can move in
mighty ways, bringing salvation, deliverance, and healing.
