Children are loved at THE ROCK of Cleveland. Much time and attention is poured into the children‘s ministry at THE ROCK, because children are the future of the church. THE ROCK Children‘s Ministry Team believes that the children should begin to learn about Jesus at an early age. For this reason, THE ROCK offers many opportunities for spiritual growth. All ROCK children learn the importance of praise and worship, as well as the knowledge of God‘s Word. Games and activities are incorporated to make learning fun. It is the goal of the leadership that each child be lead into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, learning his/her place of authority and privilege as a child of God. Children are taken seriously at THE ROCK of Cleveland and it is our desire to present spiritual messages to kids in ways that children enjoy.

THE ROCK of Cleveland Children‘s Ministry ministers to children from birth through 5th grade. We believe that a solid biblical foundation should be built from the very beginning of a child‘s life, enabling them to develop a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

At THE ROCK of Cleveland, we desire for every child to experience the love and grace God gives, and we strive to bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 4:6 and Proverbs 22:6). We also desire that these children will grow to make a difference in the world around them, simply by representing Jesus Christ. Finally, we desire that each child be filled with the Holy Spirit, the very power of God, so that they can live a Godly life with wisdom and boldness.

Children 1st through 5th grade at THE ROCK will have a wonderful time with exciting praise and worship, Bible based lessons, games, and much more. Each Sunday, the children have a chance to visit R.O.C. City. R.O.C. City is fictional city with many different characters and puppets that teach the children spiritual messages using lights, video, sound and drama to make a lasting impression on their hearts. It is a new experience each week to meet the characters that live in R.O.C. City and watch them overcome challenges and cross hurdles that children face today by learning biblical principles in a way that relates to children on their terms.

For our children 3, 4, and 5 years of age, we have pre-school church on Sunday mornings.  The children have regular weekly teachers that love them and teach them the word of God through actions and examples.  Each Sunday the children join together in the Children’s Sanctuary for fun Praise & Worship and an exciting skit.  Many adults serve weekly to give your child the best in puppetry, drama, and song.  The children learn about Jesus through high energy skits and interactive story time.  After their time in the Sanctuary, each child is escorted to their own classroom for a time of snacks, crafts, and playing with friends.  The Rock of Cleveland’s pre-school team works very diligently to serve your child and offer them children’s ministry at its best!

Nursery is provided each service for children birth through 2 years of age. Children are taught by loving individuals that desire to see children grow up in the love of Jesus. Rest assured that all children will receive the best possible care while they are at THE ROCK of Cleveland along with learning Bible basics about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All children are given a number when they sign in and in the event a parent is needed, the number is displayed in the Adult Sanctuary.
